Goodness, it's been a while since my last time here, hasn't it? O.o
I suppose I owe an explanation.
Second sememster of school was.... hetic, to say the least. AP Calc ate part my life, (and I STILL don't know the results of the exam!), and Adv. English 113 ate the other (but it was a fun class). Consequntially, my internet life in general was cut in eighths - not half, eighths. XD But I survived, still in the top five, so I'm good.
"So why didn't you come back after playing "Pomp and Circumstance" for your final year? Ya know, after you offically became a Senior?" you ask.
Well...
There is a small matter of my old computer crashing on me due to a corrupted video card.
And other reasons.
The Sunday after graduation, May 28, I left on a class trip that took us all over New England. Fun, yes. Tiring, even more so. Extra class credit, for sure! Pictures, you betcha! we returned the following Sunday.
The next day, Monday morning, June 8, I went to orchestra camp. XD That lasted until Saturday.
The next week (June 15-18) was Rookie Week for marching band. "But you have been marching for five years now!" Yes, and I'm a section leader. O.o It was fun, though. I like my rookies. That lasted until Thursday.
Then, finally, I left Friday morning, June 19, to participate in the Music for All Summer Symposium. Best. Music. Camp. EVER! There were over 1500 band nerds there for various reasons. I was on Concert track, and we played music college bands have issues with.

After I cam home on Sunday, June 28, I had three days to put together the work for the New England trip that was due on July 1.
Then I had a birthday party on the third.

And now I'm here, with one free week. "Oh joy!" Would be, if I didn't have to buy a new version of PS to work with my new laptop. O.o
Oh well, life goes on.
Until next time, I bid thee well!

Birthdays Team

Instead of counting candles,
Or tallying the years,
Contemplate your blessings,
As your birthday nears.
Consider special people
Who love you, and who care,
And others whove enriched your life
Just by being there.
Think about the memories
Passing years can never mar,
Experiences great and small
That have made you who you are.
Another year is a happy gift,
So cut your cake, and say,
"Instead of counting birthdays,
I count blessings every day!"

Love that lives in the heart cannot be so easily terminated by time. Even though the encounter is brief its impression shall last a lifetime. No one can change the direction of love that lives in the heart. If you have loved that in itself is the answer.
